Glens Falls, NY April 2021

Its snowing, cold outside and windy.  The Queensbury Hotel is a delightful spot.  I'd return here in a heartbeat. 

Today visited the Chapman Historical Museum of Glens Falls in hope of tracking down this family!  They have no record of Crossett or Hackett.  Not surprised.  Sarah is shown in a Census as working as a seamstress here, and the logical spot for that is the Shirt Factory, however, they do not have employment records dating back to the 1880s.  

Washington County Historical Society is closed because of the pandemic and not sure when they will reopen.  I'll try their research team, but the last time I asked, they could not help.
